Q. Are you licensed, insured, and bonded?

A. Yes, we are all of the above.

Q. What methods of payment do you accept? Do you offer payment plans and financing?

A. We accept all major credit cards, cash, and checks. Currently, we do not offer financing; however we do offer payment plans.

Q. What are your terms on payment plans?

A. It depends on the magnitude of the job. We do accept short-term payment plans—usually it should not exceed three months.

Q. How long does a project take to complete?

A. Again, it depends on the magnitude of the project.

Q. What do we do to get a project started?

A. First, fill out our online estimate form; one of our representatives will call you to schedule an onsite estimate. Thereafter, we request a 25% deposit to lock the starting date. At time of the deposit, we write a proposal with our terms such as starting date, ending date, etc. for both parties to sign. Note: If you choose not to proceed with the project once both parties have signed the proposal, the 25% is not refundable.

Q. Do I have to make arrangements not to be present when major construction work is being done?

A. This is completely up to you. For basement remodeling, bathroom remodeling, painting and kitchen remodeling it is not really necessary.

Q. How do I choose the best material for my project?

A. We will help you with this process by going to a showroom with you or bringing various catalogs and samples. Your response to our questions will help us narrow the choices and our vast experience with materials will help make the optimum selection in price and quality.

Q. How do you handle communications during the project process?

A. Our project manager will communicate the status of your job and any other additional questions that you may have. Our goal is to answer your questions before you have to ask them.

Q. What brands of paint do you use?

A. We use Sherwin-William, McCormick, Duran, Behr, Ralph Lauren, Benjamin Moore and any other brand of paint you may want to use.

Q. How do I maintain my interior painting?

A. Interior paint typically gets dirty in many situations: hand prints around switches and knobs; splashes in kitchens and bathrooms; marks on hallways and corridor; “soot” accumulating above electric lamps and other heat sources. Removing dirt before it accumulates not only improves appearance; it reduces chances of it getting permanently embedded in the paint film.

Check for dirt periodically; and assume it will be present in and near cooking areas (airborne cooking oil) and at all places at hand height. Always initially clean the surface with a mild detergent sponge or a soft cloth; resort to harsher cleaners only when necessary. Abrasive cleaner will burnish nearly any paint, and will dull the gloss of satin, semi-gloss and gloss products. Washed surfaces should be rinsed thoroughly because residual cleaner can interfere with adhesion of paint applied later.

Q. What color should I choose?

A. We can provide you with cardboard brush outs, or roll out samples directly on the areas to be painted. Many clients find this process helps them to better visualize the final result. Generally it’s understood that color combinations that appear pleasing are made up of colors that are in harmony or in balance with each other. Colors that do not appear to agree with each other or that clash are not in harmony. You can choose a color from our swatches at the time of our estimate or you can select the paint color from our links to the brands of paint we use.

Q. How long will my exterior painting job last?

A. Generally exterior painting job will need to be redone every 5-10 years. We recommend not to put off your exterior painting until the house is badly peeling. When it gets to that condition, it will end up costing you more in preparation time and possibly dry rot repair work. If however the property is in a bad condition when you get to it, do yourself a favor - go the extra length and ensure that a thorough surface preparation is done. The idea is to create a sound surface for the new coats to adhere to. This requires more time but is necessary for the paint job to last.

Q. Do you do faux finishes?

A. Currently, our painters are in training for a wide variety of decorative and faux finishes effects. Some of these technique include but not limited to the following: Faux texture, damask stripe, damask blocks, faux leather, painted stripes, frottage, Venetian plaster, strie, and faux linen. We will post an update on our website when we offer this service.

Q. How many years of experience do?

A. We have over 20 years of experience in contracting, remodeling, painting, and concrete work.

Q. Do you have any references?
